Start with version clarity
Classic and 2.0 are distinct products. Do not assume a feature, tutorial, or price for one applies to the other.
Compare your existing workflow
List existing funnels, integrations, domains, checkout steps, and team access before evaluating a change.
Confirm the live features, terms, and pricing before choosing a platform.
Explore ClickFunnels Classic ↗Migration questions
Ask support what can be moved, what needs rebuilding, and how links, analytics, and payment flows would be tested. Do not assume a direct migration path.
Choose based on requirements
Compare the current official feature and pricing pages side by side; product capabilities and terms may change.
Explore a funnel-building option
If a connected funnel builder fits your needs, review the current ClickFunnels Classic offer and its terms directly with the merchant.
Explore ClickFunnels Classic ↗The migration issue is material
ClickFunnels' Classic support documentation says Classic and 2.0 are separate platforms and that Classic funnels cannot be migrated directly into 2.0. Treat rebuilding, retesting, redirects and integrations as a project rather than a one-click upgrade. Linking accounts for billing is not the same as transferring a funnel.
Compare the work, not just the names
Inventory active pages, forms, payment connections, email automations, domains and analytics. For a new project, test the current versions against your requirements; for an existing Classic operation, include the cost of recreating live assets and the risk of disrupting customers.
A practical transition plan
Document every live URL and conversion event, create equivalent pages in a staging environment, test the entire customer journey, and switch traffic only after payment, tracking and email checks pass. Keep rollback options and preserve the old setup until you have validated the new one.
Practical checklist
Define the visitor’s goal and the exact next action. List the information needed to make a decision, then test the complete journey on a phone, including error messages and confirmation. Record the tools, costs and people needed to deliver the promise. Compare a simple implementation with a connected platform before committing to a subscription.
Review real customer questions and reliable performance data after launch. Fix broken steps and unclear promises before adding complexity. Avoid interpreting a small number of visits as proof that a design or software product improves conversion.
Official documentation
Product-specific information should be checked against the current vendor documentation. This is desk research, not a hands-on test.
